Global Sustainability Requirements for SAP: Guest Lecture with Reiner Bihler

Sustainability has become one of the key challenges and opportunities of our time. But what does sustainability mean in a global context and how should a software company respond? For a globally operating technology company like SAP, sustainability goes far beyond ecological responsibility. It includes the question of how digital innovation can empower businesses worldwide to operate in a more sustainable, transparent, and responsible way.

This presentation outlines the global sustainability requirements relevant to SAP and explains, as a first step, the strategic solution approach we have developed to address this crucial topic in a comprehensive and future-oriented manner.
