Futures Planning Methods Workshop – Communicorn Conference
Am 16. & 17. September waren wir Teil der Communicorn Konferenz in Lüneburg.

Future Workshop 2050 – Rethinking Sustainability
On 17 September, Chris Vensky-Stalling and Franca Bülow will host an interactive methods workshop at the Communicorn Conference | Leuphana. Together with participants – and supported by artificial intelligence – they will take a look into the year 2050:
What might innovative and sustainable production and value chains look like amidst multiple crises – and how do we get there?
Drawing on ideas from the first conference day (where Franca Bülow will also serve as a table moderator), the teams will use AI to create diverse future scenarios. These will then be explored playfully through the Disney Method – from the perspectives of Dreamer, Realist, and Critic.
Building on this, participants will apply techniques from Adaptive Pathways Planning, a method rooted in climate adaptation research. Together, the group will design concrete pathways for companies and teams – considering opportunities, risks, and potential turning points.
In closing, we ask: What impulses can we take away for responsible entrepreneurship, creative adaptation strategies, and sustainable development?
We look forward to an inspiring workshop full of creativity, exchange, and fresh ideas for the future of entrepreneurship and sustainability!
